  My husband and I and our 2 teenage children did the Monchique tour with Algarve by Segway 2 years ago, so we already knew that Nelson and André are both... read more extremely friendly, yet professional guys. As my son's girlfriend was visiting, we decided to treat her to a segway tour. We chose to do the Monchique tour again, but unfortunately, soon after setting off, there was a problem with one of the segways. André swapped his segway with the problem one which was very slow and consequently was not able to keep up with the rest of us. Although my family and I still enjoyed the tour, for the inconvenience, Nelson offered us a complimentary tour of the Rio Formosa, which we considered to be a very generous gesture. We have now done 3 tours with Algarve by Segway, always with André as our guide, and we all throughly enjoyed the tours and André's company. We would not hesitate to recommend Algarve by Segway to anybody.

We were about 15... read more min late but the guide was still waiting. Thank you very much. We had a nice guide and saw a lot of things. He explained different things. We had a lot of fun. It was not the first time. We had already experience from USA. Overall it was very good. The only thing what could be better is that the guide would stopp for/ by crossing streets and let the visitors first over the street. After he can have the lead again. The segway equipment should be more checked. The wheel of my segway was a bit shakey. It was a nice tour with a lot of good impression.

  Last July my family & I were staying in Quinta do Lago & booked a tour. Our guide Nelson was lovely. 2 adults & 2 children ages 11 & 14.... read more Although we were all keeping a good distance from each other on the Segways, about half way through the tour my youngest daughter stopped her Segway suddenly and we crashed. Both of us were quite badly hurt. My Segway actually ended up off the road on top of me, they are very heavy! No broken bones but both of us had several really bad cuts & bruises, quite a bit of blood. Nelson used some wipes & sterile lotion to clean some of the cuts but in general played down the whole accident. We were both very sore & bruised for days afterwards. At the time I was embarrassed about the fall & my review just said how lovely our guide & tour was (which it was at the start) In hindsight I feel it important to let people know how easy it is to come off one of these things and if you do it is not nice. My family will not be getting on a Segway ever again.

  Brilliant experience. Brilliant day out . Views are fabulous and tour guide was very helpful. Would. Highly recommend!
